An event honoring the legacy of renowned uilleann piper Leo Rowsome, featuring performances and workshops.
he Leo Rowsome Commemorative Event takes place annually in Henrietta Street on the last Saturday in February. The events of the day celebrate all aspects of Leo’s legacy and include piping tuition, reedmaking tuition, a lecture and piping performance, followed by a social gathering with informal music.
This year’s event will take place on Saturday 22nd February. Full details of this year’s programme of events will be available in the new year. All members are welcome to attend.
