Sir James Matthew Barrie, Bt. (May 09, 1860 - June 19, 1937), more commonly known as J. M. Barrie, was a Scottish novelist and dramatist. He is best known for creating the character Peter Pan, a supernatural fantasy about a boy who refused to grow up.
